Food: Anything that moves and it can overpower. Crickets, locusts, cockroaches, moths, waxworms, curly wing flies, blue bottle flies, green bottles, fruit flies.
Temperature: 24﮿C-30﮿C (Ideal Temperature 26﮿C).
Adult Size: Females - 7cm Males - 4cm
Humidity: 40-50% This species doesn’t need it too humid but needs spraying every other day for a drink.
Budwing mantis are voracious feeders and will give chase to their prey. They are highly cannibalistic and won’t think twice about eating their sibling or mate.
Adult females will display a threat posture with their wings and front legs when disturbed or angered. They are quite an active species and will love a roomier enclosure if you have the space.
The males are quite a bit smaller than the females and as adults are pretty good fliers.
