Easily one of my favourite species. The prothorax is juuuustttt to sexy, the triangle shape, the soft curves and the way it flares out. You keep these guys much like their cousins Deroplatys Dessicata or lobata. I find they aren't as aggressive and defensive as D.Dessicata or Lobata and more likely to pretend to be dead and go skittish than lash out.
Adult males are very good fliers, something to keep in mind when wanting to handle.
Just a lovely species for any collection. Colours range from a sandy beige to oak brown to a steely grey. Simply love them!
